Why might some people not be cut out for the zip lining experience?

Ultimately, zip lining is a unique and challenging adventure, not an amusement park ride. Everyone’s experience will be different, and there is a very mild element of risk that accompanies the adrenaline rush! A zip line tour can be extremely empowering, enabling individuals to push their limits and conquer fears of things like heights, speed, etc.

Will I get trained to assure my safety before I get to ride?

Absolutely! It is a requirement that every participant goes through the WIRED ground school before ascending any of our towers. You’ll go through the course with a member of the trained WIRED staff, and at the end will fully understand safety procedures, how to use your riding pulley, safe speed control and braking, and much more.

Will I be allowed to ride the zip lines by myself?

You’ll be riding solo, but at each point during your tour you’ll be accompanied by one of WIRED’s seasoned Guides, assuring your safety throughout the tour. The Guides are not only trained in safe and exciting riding techniques, but are also there to assure you get the most fun out of the entire WIRED experience, so you’ll be in very good hands!

How is the WIRED course different from other courses?

Our course was engineered and built with the highest safety standards in mind. We are inspected and certified annually by a company accredited by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT). We have steel constructed platforms on steel poles anchored deep into the ground. Our riding lines are constructed of 1/2" aircraft cable and are carefully inspected daily. We have devoted attention to all of these elements because your safety is our number one concern. We want you to assure you enjoy a safe and memorable zip line tour.

I'm ready to ride! How do I reserve a tour?

When you know the exact number of people in your group, call us at 903-567-2681. We need a major credit or debit card to secure all reservations. Failure to cancel within 48 hours of your reservation will result in a charge on your card for the entire tour amount. Your card will not be billed until the day of the tour.
